FRESH VIDEO CONTENT
Themes like Revolution and Mimbo also included video in their layout but choice of video content was limited to a single Video that the site admin has to update regularly to keep a fresh look for repeat visitors. We took on the challenge in Viva7 to create a dynamic Video Widget that could serve random videos from a playlist on each page load – or offer specific videos on key pages and posts.

CSS FREE COLOUR EDITS
Changing the background colour, pattern or style of most premium WP themes is also a challenge for those not familiar with CSS files. Our aim with VIVA7 is to provide seven core colour schemes that are ready to go out of the box. What’s more you can quickly and easily edit key colour elements on the page through the Theme Options page, and without a single CSS edit create a site that has the look and feel you want – FAST. Creating a whole new colour scheme is easy too – just copy a scheme folder and edit to suit.

WRITE->UPLOAD->PUBLISH
Most importantly, when it comes to writing content, VIVA7 out performs all other Premium themes. Write your post and upload an image. That’s all you need to do. All your homepage thumbnails are generated on the fly – NO custom fields required! Your post is added to the homepage in full magazine style as well as to the Viva carousel. You can also upload a Per Post header image direct from the Add Media uploader while editing a post, and your header image will be displayed exclusively on that post or page. Viva Zoom plugin powers the site thumbnails. You only need upload a single image with a post and Viva Zoom wil automatically generate the correct size thumbnails for each location on the hompage. (The Zoom effect can also be used in posts to enable you to insert small thumbnails that don’t disrupt your text that Zoom out to the full size image when clicked.)

Viva Carousel is integrated into Viva7 in two forms. Both the Posts edition and the Gallery edition so you can seamlessly switch between the two types of carousel display (having either a scrolling link to your recent posts or to your recent images) From the Viva7 control panel you can also decide where the carousel appears in your homepage. A posts carousel also features on the category archive page independent of the homepage carousel.

Viva Events – A brand new Viva plugin for the Viva7 theme allows you to tag posts with event dates and then list them on your homepage in event order (displaying the Event date rather than the date of the post if required.) Event Lists are kept up to date by automatically retiring post dated events from your homepage ensuring that yoru site is always current.

Viva Video – Adding a video to your homepage is almost expected these days btu with Viva Video it goes one step further. While most magazine themes force you to have one video that loads every time your site is visited, in Viva7 you can create a playlist that serves a random video to visitors on every page load.
